Please come and join us for our next conservation session, meeting at the conservation area in Fox Hill woods.

Our conservation activities will include clearing the ditch parallel to Dorset Way to aid footpath drainage, removing Rhododendron from where it is most dense, and transporting the Rhododendron chippings onto pathways.  If time allows, we have permission to remove some of the smaller Sycamores and to coppice some Hazel trees.  If you are very local and have a wheelbarrow it would be useful

Please wear clothing with long sleeves, long trousers, sturdy shoes, and bring a pair of gardening gloves.  Don’t forget to bring something to drink, and eat, if you so wish.

The event will follow any current Government guidelines regarding COVID-19.  We regret that no children under the age of 16 are permitted due to insurance restrictions.  All work carried out is with the approval of Wokingham Borough Council.
