Conservation Working Party – May 2022

Sunday May 8 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

Our next session will focus on traditional woodland management tool training. This will be provided by one of the Countryside Officers from Dinton Pastures. If you would like to attend, please register by sending an email to events@friendsoffoxhill.org for more information.

As many of you know, we have been using tools to clear the woodland of Rhododendron, an invasive species. Last October, in the cleared area, we planted native bulbs. We went in search of them earlier this month and while the Bluebells were not as easy to spot as the wild garlic, Ramson, we found them both. They should be flowering soon, if not already.
