Thank you to everyone who joined us on 16th January for our Conservation Working Party.

Please come and join us for our next session, meeting at the Conservation Area in Fox Hill Woods behind Dorset Way.  On this session, we will be concentrating on clearing the pathway and the ditch which run parallel to Dorset Way. We will be moving logs to edge the pathway and pegging the logs in place. There will be some clearing of undergrowth and some Rhododendron clearing. We will not be putting woodchip onto the footpaths, so wheelbarrows may be useful but not essential. Garden loppers, pruning saws, and spades will be useful tools.

Please wear clothing with long sleeves, long trousers, sturdy shoes, and bring a pair of gardening gloves.  Don’t forget to bring something to drink, and eat, if you so wish.

The event will follow the current Government guidelines regarding COVID-19.  We regret that no children under the age of 16 are permitted due to insurance restrictions.  All work carried out is with the approval of Wokingham Borough Council.
