Thank you to everyone who joined us in March for our Conservation Working Party. Please come and join us at our next meeting on Sunday 10th April, meeting at the Conservation Area in Fox Hill Woods behind Dorset Way. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is necessary as there are a range of tasks to cater for all.

For this session we will continue to tackle the ditch clearance, path clearance and edging. This will probably be the last opportunity this season to clear the pathways as the ground will begin to get harder to work on. In addition, any Rhododendron cleared can now be stacked ready to be turned into pathway chippings. Wheelbarrows may be useful but not essential. If you can bring a spade or shovel, it will help but we do have a collection of our own tools.

Please wear clothing with long sleeves, long trousers, sturdy shoes, and bring a pair of gardening gloves.  Don’t forget to bring something to drink, and eat, if you so wish.
