Did you know there are 17 breeding species of bat in the UK? 
Do you want to help us find out which ones live in Fox Hill woods?

Come and join us as we welcome Harriet Baber from the South Bucks & Berks Bat Group who will share her knowledge of bats on a short walk around Fox Hill woods after sunset in the hope of seeing and hearing (with the help of special equipment) some bats.

Please come prepared for walking in semi-darkness. A small torch such as a head torch with a red filter is ideal to preserve your night vision.
Wear sturdy footwear for walking on the uneven paths and you may wish to wear long sleeves and trousers and/or bug spray to avoid being bitten by the bats prey!

You may also want to bring an extra layer if it is not a particularly warm evening.

The event is free but there will be a collection for the South Bucks & Berks Bat Group.
