Dear friend,
Spring greetings to all! Soft new growth is appearing in Fox Hill and gardens across the borough. Daffodils are on their way back into the soil, handing the stage over to bluebells. It's an exciting time!

Our local birds are starting some new growth of their own, and an eagle eye will see them gathering nesting material around now. So, Eddy from Friends of the Emmbrook will lead a Birding Watching Walk in Fox Hill on Saturday, the 15th of April. We will meet at the Dorset Way entrance to the woods, which is between numbers 2 and 12 Dorset Way. A voluntary donation of £3.00 would be appreciated.

Our next conservation session is on Sunday, 16th of April from 10am to 1pm. It would be great if you could join us, with your spade if you have one. We'll be working on the paths this time. No experience is necessary, and all are welcome. It is important to register as there is information we need to send to you, and it helps us to know how many people are attending so that we can plan the tasks accordingly.

With thanks,

Claire
